The contents of the leached current emerging from the landfill is also evaluated.             El objetivo del presente trabajo fue evaluar el tipo, procedencia y cantidad de RTP que ingresan al relleno sanitario El Carrasco así como los RTP que emigran en la corriente de lixiviados. El seguimiento de estos residuos involucró una primera etapa de encuesta a los sectores industrial, comercial, de servicios y hospitalario del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga, con el fin de establecer la incidencia de los sectores generadores de RTP y la información cualitativa y cuantitativa de los mismos, y finalmente una segunda etapa de muestreo directo de desechos y lixiviados en el relleno sanitario.
