Como la belleza y el cuerpo de la mujer ha venido cambiando su concepto a través de los tiempos, siglos atrás. A partir de algunas vivencias personales relacionadas con los cánones de belleza impuestos por la sociedad y los estereotipos que esta misma impone, surge mi interés de indagar cómo me percibo, como me defino a mí misma, y también cómo me perciben y catalogan en el contexto de una sociedad mediatizada, generadora de estereotipos que aún se instalan en nuestras mentes. Es entonces cuando decido desarrollar una propuesta de video performance para generar una reflexión sobre estos cánones de belleza que la sociedad impone y como estos han impactado sobre mí.

As the beauty and the body of the woman has been changing its concept through the times, centuries ago. From some personal experiences related to the canons of beauty imposed by society and the stereotypes that it imposes, my interest arises to investigate how I perceive myself, how I define myself, and also how I am perceived and classified in the context of a mediatized society, generator of stereotypes that are still installed in our minds.
