The Teachers' Union of Santander SES currently has a legal office in order to provide advice on legal matters to their affiliates; the recognition of the Social Legal practice was made in order to provide the necessary advice by its affiliates where the knowledge acquired could apply during the undergraduate mechanisms used protection of Fundamental Rights. In that vein
insufficient knowledge faculty members presenting their labor and constitutional rights
forced to perform a legal practice which will facilitate the application
implementation and understanding by union members -SES
certain constitutional mechanisms that ultimately are suitable to preserve their rights
reaching a more rapid and effective solution. Access to justice in our country is one of the great scourges suffered by the citizen
in this sense
a way to minimize this problem it is precisely from the University where it has the human resources to guide all those who in one way or otherwise have been subjected to constant violations of their rights
in the case at hand Teachers of Basic and Secondary Schools in Santander
for whom this institutional support means breaking down the barriers that prevent them from being recognized as subjects of rights and thus lend legal or constitutional guarantees to offer legal certainty that the State has denied for decades
despite belonging to a union that promotes the fight and defense of labor and constitutional rights.

El Sindicato de Educadores de Santander SES es una institución de naturaleza pública, el cual se dirige al grupo poblacional especial- docentes afiliados, prestando asesorías de manera continua en materia jurídica, temas entre los cuales se pueden resaltar, derechos laborales, seguridad social y derechos fundamentales. En ese orden de ideas, el insuficiente conocimiento que presentan los afiliados docentes de sus derechos laborales y constitucionales, ha obligado a realizar una práctica jurídica tendiente a facilitar la aplicación, implementación y comprensión por parte de los afiliados al sindicato de educadores de Santander SES, de ciertos mecanismos constitucionales que finalmente resultan idóneos para preservar sus derechos, alcanzando una solución más rápida y efectiva. El acceso a la justicia en nuestro país es uno de los grandes flajelos sufridos por el ciudadano, en este sentido, una forma de minimizar esta problemática precisamente es desde la Universidad donde se cuenta con el Recurso Humano para orientar a todos aquellos que de una u otra forma han sido víctimas de constantes vulneraciones de sus derechos, para el caso que nos ocupa los Docentes de las Escuelas básica y Secundaria en Santander, para quienes este apoyo institucional significa romper con las barreras que les impide ser reconocidos como sujetos de derechos y por ende prestarle las garantías jurídicas o constitucionales que permitan ofrecerles la seguridad jurídica que el Estado les ha negado durante varias décadas, pese a pertenecer a un Sindicato que promueve la lucha y defensa de los derechos laborales y constitucionales. |
