This paper shows the development of a maintenance model based on RMC methodology for Cerescos Sascritical machines. The main objective of this proposal is to minimize the impacts on production that could be caused by the unavailability of the machines. Furthermore
this paper proposes the application of a maintenance model based on equipment functions and equipment operating context. These features meet the new trend of maintenance programs that focuses on reliability. The dissertation is supported by the equipment technical information obtained and the knowledge and experience of the workforce that operates and maintains the machines. The technical information and the workforce are the key-support in each stage mainly during the identification of failure modes and effects. After the identification
the RCM through the decision diagram provides a strong tool that allow in a structured way to establish the activities required to increase the efficiency and useful life of the assets. Therefore
the RCM optimizes the maintenance programs eliminating the tasks that no added value. s commitment in the execution of the tasks proposed by RCM and the permanent monitoring by the maintenance workforce
in order to find the Opportunities to improve the model presented and increase continuously its effectiveness.
