The aims in this prefeasibility study is improvement oriented central echelon in the supply chain in the company GIRE SAS production process
which is dedicated to the management of solid waste plastics such as high density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP). To improve the productivity of the company
it is required to know all the current supply chain. From this
the situational diagnostic with primary information sources (interviews and regular visits to the company) is proposed
using diagnostic tools such as brainstorming
fishbone diagram (Ishikawa) and Value stream mapping (VSM). It was obtained as a result identifying shortcomings and making suggestions for improvement. The market study from secondary sources established that 1.3% of establishments in Santander are dedicated to handling plastic products and 29 companies nationwide work the plastic material recovered as raw material. According to research a demand for 118
360 kilograms of HDPE and PP material for 2016 was determined
and a projected annual growth of 7% in a horizon of five (5) years. With the technical study implementation pelleting process was analyzed
it is determined realize mechanical cold-cutting; for that requires a machine with the relevant technology. It was estimated that the company will have a capacity utilization of 55% for the first year

El presente estudio de prefactibilidad tiene como propósito el mejoramiento del proceso productivo orientado al eslabón central de la cadena de suministro en la empresa GIRE S.A.S., que está dedicada a la gestión de residuos sólidos de plásticos como polietileno de alta densidad (PEAD) y polipropileno (PP). Para mejorar la productividad de la empresa, se requiere conocer toda la cadena de suministro actual. A partir de esto, se plantea el diagnóstico situacional con fuentes de información primarias (entrevistas y visitas periódicas a la empresa), utilizando herramientas de diagnóstico como lluvia de ideas, diagrama de causa-efecto y mapa de valor. Se obtuvo como resultado la identificación de falencias y la elaboración de propuestas de mejora. El estudio de mercado realizado a partir de fuentes secundarias estableció que el 1,3% de establecimientos en Santander se dedican al manejo de productos plásticos y a nivel nacional 29 empresas trabajan el material plástico recuperado como materia prima. Según la investigación se determinó una demanda de 118.360 kilogramos de material PEAD y PP para año 2016, y se determinó una proyección de crecimiento del 7% anual en un horizonte de cinco (5) años. Con el estudio técnico se analizó la implementación del proceso de peletizado, se determina realizarlo de tipo mecánico y con corte al frío; para ello se definió una máquina con la tecnología pertinente. Se estimó que la empresa tendrá una capacidad utilizada del 55% para el primer año, correspondiente a 274.560 Kilogramos de material plástico, también se determinó una nueva disposición de área sobre la planta actual de GIRE. Para finalizar, con el estudio financiero, se determinó una inversión inicial de $ 153.424.990 para adquirir la maquina peletizadora, utilizando como fuente de financiación un crédito bancario con el 70% y un 30% aportes de socios. Con este estudio se determinó que el proyecto es viable según los principales indicadores calculados como el VPN de $102.443.934,54 y una TIR del 45,99%, además se estima el periodo de recuperación para 2,38 años. |
