Esta investigación busca proponer diferentes estrategias, entre ellas una intervención didáctica, que permitan fortalecer, conservar y divulgar la tradición oral del corregimiento de Tienda Nueva en el municipio de Betulia, Santander. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo con los grados de décimo y once del Colegio Integrado Nuestra Señora de la Paz y la entrevista a una de las personas más mayores del corregimiento y exconcejal del municipio. La cátedra propuesta es una secuencia didáctica de doce sesiones de dos horas cada una, está planeada para abarcar aspectos sociales, culturales e históricos de la región y, en cuanto a su estructura, esta va de lo general a lo particular. Es decir, parte desde los aspectos nacionales, pasa por lo departamental y termina con el estudio y análisis de los componentes culturales de la zona. Por último, se encontró que, a pesar de ser una región culturalmente diversa, hay pocos registros históricos y documentos legales del nacimiento de la zona, no existen proyectos que busquen resguardar las tradiciones y costumbres del lugar y que los estudiantes desconocen gran parte de la historia y tradición oral del lugar. Por ende, se hace un llamado, tanto a la academia como a las autoridades competentes, para seguir trabajando en pro de salvaguardar los saberes ancestrales de esta comunidad y prevenir la perdida de años y años de tradición. |

This is a qualitative and ethnographic project. The data collection was carried out with the tenth and eleventh grades of the Colegio Integrado Nuestra Señora de la Paz and the interview to one of the oldest people of the village and former councilor of the municipality. The proposed lecture is a didactic sequence of twelve sessions of two hours each, it is planned to cover social, cultural and historical aspects of the region and, in terms of its structure, it goes from the general to the particular. That is, it starts from the national aspects, goes through the departmental and ends with the study and analysis of the cultural components of the area. Finally, it was found that, despite being a culturally diverse region, there are few historical records and legal documents of the birth of the area, there are no projects that seek to safeguard the traditions and customs of the place and that students are unaware of much of the history and oral tradition of the place.
