El propósito de la misma fue construir memoria histórica razonada en el municipio de Puerto Wilches (Santander) elaborada por colectivos de investigación entre estudiantes y profesores del sistema educativo de dicho municipio.El proceso de investigación histórica escolar pretendió abarcar dos tópicos: primero, la “construcción de conocimiento histórico en espiral”, es decir que dicho accionar pudiera tener un inicio, un desarrollo, un fin y una apertura para continuarlo. Segundo, el “aprendizaje social” donde se construyera conocimiento significativo desde el trabajo en colectivos por parte de estudiantes, profesores y padres de familia. En el artículo se reflexiona sobre los saberes, significados y alcances que aporta la experiencia implementada.Palabras clave: investigación histórica escolar, gestión del conocimiento. ABSTRACTThe current article resulted from the elaboration of a pedagogical proposal within on a historic investigation, carried out by the University “Industrial de Santander”, the History department and “the Foundation Fruto social de la Palma”. The main purpose of the project was to build Puerto Wilches Municipality local history reconstructed by students and teachers, members of the eight central educative institutions from this municipality.The historic investigation intended to cover two topics, the first one to stimulate teachers and students to take in “building historic spiralled knowledge”; i.e., that the process may have a starting point, going through the development and an ending point that opens a new beginning. The Second one is to ensure the continuity of meaningful “social learning” built by the collective work of students, teachers and parents.
