Market Intelligence exercises processes and coordination have won a good space. In Colombia companies of foreign origin have incorporated the culture of knowing fully and formally the market in which there are the key players and recently has become a widespread trend of the operating companies
to the point of making such a formal exercise which is seen as a cornerstone in the formulation of the supply strategy of each company
providing market information and making permanent monitoring of new players
variations and price trends and potential suppliers or schemes acquisition of goods and services for the sustainable operation of each company. The aim of this paper is to provide an adjustable method to any organization to achieve manage their costs before challenging scenarios of the hydrocarbon industry by low international oil prices and consolidate synchronously performance and technical efficiency efforts with a high commercial and contractual expectation. Thus it is intended to achieve operational viability at any price scenario
