Market Intelligence exercises processes and coordination have won a good space. In Colombia companies of foreign origin have incorporated the culture of knowing fully and formally the market in which there are the key players and recently has become a widespread trend of the operating companies
to the point of making such a formal exercise which is seen as a cornerstone in the formulation of the supply strategy of each company
providing market information and making permanent monitoring of new players
variations and price trends and potential suppliers or schemes acquisition of goods and services for the sustainable operation of each company. The aim of this paper is to provide an adjustable method to any organization to achieve manage their costs before challenging scenarios of the hydrocarbon industry by low international oil prices and consolidate synchronously performance and technical efficiency efforts with a high commercial and contractual expectation. Thus it is intended to achieve operational viability at any price scenario

description En la industria de hidrocarburos, específicamente en el área del upstream, los procesos y la coordinación de Inteligencias de Mercado han gano un buen espacio. En Colombia compañías de origen extranjero han incorporado la cultura de conocer a mayor detalle y de manera formal el mercado en el cual se es protagonista y recientemente se ha convertido en una tendencia generalizada de las compañías operadoras, al punto de hacer de estas un ejercicio formal que es visto como la piedra angular en la formulación de la estrategia de abastecimiento de cada compañía, proveyendo información de mercado y haciendo un seguimiento permanente a nuevos actores del mismo que afectan la consecución de objetivos de la compañía, variaciones y tendencias de precios y potenciales proveedores o esquemas de adquisición de bienes y servicios para la sostenible operación de cada compañía. De esta manera el objetivo del documento es proveer un método ajustable a cualquier organización, para que logre gerenciar sus costos ante escenarios desafiantes de la industria de hidrocarburos por bajos precios internacionales del petróleo y consolidar de manera sincronizada los esfuerzos de rendimiento y eficiencia técnica con una alta expectativa de tipo comercial y contractual.
