AUDITORÍA DE LAS APLICACIONES UTILIZADAS PARA LA PLANIFICACIÓN Y CONTROL DE PROYECTOS. CASO DE ESTUDIO: ORICONSULT, C.A.

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general la realización de una auditoría de las aplicaciones usadas para la planificación y control de proyectos en la empresa Oriconsult, C.A, obedeciendo a una problemática en el área de Planificación y Control de Proyectos, relacionada con el tiempo y esfuerzo invertido en el proceso. Para lograr este objetivo fue necesario desarrollar una investigación de campo dentro de un nivel descriptivo, sustentada en la observación directa, la revisión documental, la técnica de la encuesta estructurada, a través de un cuestionario y la matriz de evaluación, como técnicas de recolección de datos y seleccionando de una población de ochenta (80) personas, que conforman la organización, una muestra de siete (07) personas, utilizando la técnica de muestreo no probabilística intencional. Tal investigación, implementa una metodología para la auditoría de aplicaciones informáticas resultado de la combinación de las metodologías propuestas por Mario Piattini junto a Emilio del Peso y por Carlos Muñoz, la cual consta de 5 fases que engloban la recolección de la información y documentación de las aplicaciones, determinación de los objetivos y alcance, planificación, ejecución, redacción y presentación de informe final de la auditoría. Como resultado, se propone la utilización de la aplicación Microsoft Project aprovechando al máximo las utilidades que esta ofrece, de modo que se logre beneficios dentro de la organización, como minimizar tiempo y esfuerzo y aumentar entre otras cosas la confiabilidad de los datos y la satisfacción del usuario y que a su vez contribuya a aumentar la eficacia y eficiencia de las funciones del departamento y la productividad de la organización en general.PALABRAS CLAVES: Auditoría Informática, Aplicaciones Informáticas, Planificación y Control de Proyectos.ABSTRACTThis research had as objective the conduct of an audit of the applications used to plan and control projects in the company Oriconsult, CA, following a problem in the area of Project Planning and Control, related to the time and effort invested in the process.To achieve this objective it was necessary to develop a field research within a descriptive level, based on direct observation, document review, the technique of structured survey through a questionnaire and the evaluation matrix, such as collection techniques and selecting data from a population of eighty (80) people, who make up the organization, a sample of seven (07) persons, using the technique of non probabilistic sampling. Such research, implements a methodology for auditing computer applications resulting from the combination of the methodologies proposed by Mario Piattini weight with Emilio and Carlos Muñoz, which consists of 5 phases that comprise the collection of information and documentation applications, determining the objectives and scope, planning, execution, writing and submitting the final audit report. As a result, we propose the use of Microsoft Project implementation maximizing the profits that it offers, so as to achieve benefits within the organization, such as minimizing time and effort and increase inter alia, data reliability and satisfaction user and that in turn contribute to increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of department functions and productivity of the organization in general.KEYWORDS: Computer Audit, Computer Applications, Project Planning and Control.
