Este artículo se enfoca en uno solo de ellos: el examen de estado estandarizado y obligatorio que deben presentar los estudiantes al finalizar su bachillerato. La primera parte del artículo hace referencia a las suposiciones en las que se basa este examen y que, a mi modo de ver, son erróneas. La segunda parte del artículo explora algunos problemas relacionados con la forma en que se construye este tipo de exámenes.Palabras clave:Examen de estado, estandarización de pruebas, educación y cultura, educación y sociedad, pruebas de escogencia múltiple, niveles de aprendizaje.   Abstract:An obligatory, standardized, national exam like the one the students who finish high-school have to take in our country is nothing more than one of the many problems that our present system of education has. This article focuses on this problem and presents some flawed assumptions on which this kind of exams are based. These assumptions have as a consequence a failure to recognize factors like unequal resources, social and cultural problems and the possibility of bias against some students.
