Su mayor beneficio es el aumento de las luces entre columnas, la disminución de espesores de losa, aumento en la capacidad de carga y vida útil, beneficios que se comparten en cierta medida con el uso de Building Information Modeling (BIM) cuyo objetivo principal es reducir los tiempos, costos en diseño y construcción, optimizando al máximo los recursos disponibles.
