description Desde la perspectiva de la historia intelectual, este artículo analiza la historia y los aportes de la revista colombiana Estudios Marxistas, publicación impulsada por el Partido Comunista Colombiano y el CEIS entre 1969 y 1987. Para ello, el texto presenta una periodización de ésta en la que se identifican tres etapas altamente relacionadas con los cambios en la vida de su director, pero también mediadas por el contexto político e intelectual de la época. De igual forma se presentan detalladamente las transformaciones en los aspectos técnicos y editoriales, la recurrencia de temas en sus contenidos y se nombran sus principales autores. El texto finaliza analizando una serie de artículos publicados entre 1969 y 1975 sobre la formación del proletariado agrícola para entender cómo se aplicaba el método del marxismo-leninismo a la interpretación de la realidad nacional.

To do so, the text presents a periodization of the magazine in which three stages are identified that are highly related to changes in the life of its director, but also mediated by the political and intellectual context of the time. Similarly, the text presents in detail the transformations in technical and editorial aspects, the recurrence of themes in its contents, and names its main authors.
