Description
Summary:The dynamic flood analysis includes hydraulic simulations from a critical overflow environment in  two dimensional  frame, for the La Virgen stream in the San José de Miranda Municipality. For this purpose was required the update of morphometric parameters of the hydrographic basin, and the digitalization of the vegetation coverage. Moreover, it was necessary to apply processes of spatial   interpolation to determine   the precipitation regimens in a processing range of sixteen years, these searches were used for the calculation of hyetographs with periodicity of 2. 33, 5, 25, 50, and 100 years which gave rise to the hydrographs of floods and allowed the development of the simulation.  As a result,   a similar behavior was obtained in each return period and the consequences are manifested in almost the same territorial units along the channel, with maximum depths of up to 6.71 m.
