description La práctica empresarial desarrollada en la jurisdicción de la Corporación Autónoma Regional para la Defensa de la Meseta de Bucaramanga en la Subdirección de Evaluación y Control Ambiental (SEYCA), en el grupo de seguimiento para la sostenibilidad, tuvo como objetivo apoyar actividades enfocadas al seguimiento de compensaciones y aprovechamientos forestales. Este proceso, se desarrolló a través un trabajo de campo planificado que permitió la verificación de cumplimientos legales en cada uno de los procesos abiertos por solicitud del respectivo usuario. Se realizaron 14 visitas de seguimiento a aprovechamientos forestales solicitados en el año 2022, y 22 visitas de seguimiento de compensaciones forestales, donde se fortalecieron conocimientos referentes a uso, aprovechamiento sostenible y compensaciones de especies forestales. La práctica permitió validar como los usuarios asumen posturas de compromisos de cumplimiento a nivel documental y labores en campo de manejo y gestión forestal, acciones que favorecen todos los procesos que desarrolla la autoridad ambiental en el departamento de Santander.
