Summary: | Public officials have a series of obligations and limitations in the exercise of their functions, and when there is evidence of an excess or absence thereof, their actions are analyzed through the Single Disciplinary Code (Law 734 of 2002) and the New Anti-Corruption Statute (Law 1474 of 2011), which contemplate the disciplinary attribution for those officials who must perform the respective instruction, investigation and sanction. And the discomfort is reflected in the absence of true sanctions, since those officials who are in high administrative positions are normally not convicted, since many of these processes are archived and reviewed again to declare their expiration. Actions are that are contrary to constitutional principles, leaving the levels of efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, credibility and good progress of the different public institutions very low. |
