Summary: | This research work is to develop a model of territorial occupancy in the area of suburban expansion southeast in the municipality of Granada-Meta, which promotes the economic and social development of the municipality and improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. The problem of investigation was addressed from the problematics determined in the Plan of Municipal development 2016-2019, being the most important, the informal settlements presented in the Southeastern zone of the municipality by the displaced population, cause of the armed conflict that was occurred in the last decades in this region. The research methodology used as a basic technique a descriptive approach developed in 3 stages, which consisted in collecting information from different bibliographic sources and field visits, in order to establish an initial diagnosis, to generate partial conclusions, define design criteria and, propose intervention strategies.Finally, the design proposal was presented, the register represented the urban-rural transition through the model of territorial occupation that integrates the productive activities of the municipality with the opportune activities for the progress of the population |
