RESUMEN: La innovación, como tema central en el debate contemporáneo, plantea variadas dificultades, que van desde su propia conceptualización hasta la decisión del tipo y estrategia a utilizar, en caso de su implementación, y los caminos a seguir en dicho proceso, la determinación y articulación de actores y el diseño e implementación de políticas públicas al respecto en todos los niveles de actividad política, económica y académica. Este artículo aborda el concepto y los principales rasgos de la innovación, como fenómeno que atraviesa el quehacer nacional, con el objetivo de aportar elementos que permitan identificar algunos retos importantes para su implementación universitaria, especialmente direccionados a ayudar a comprender mejor el camino recorrido hasta ahora en su implementación en la Universidad de Antioquia. |
