RESUMEN: El propósito de esta investigación era poder reconocer el goalball en tanto práctica deportiva adaptada, como un escenario que permite el resistir y el re- existir de sus integrantes a nuevas formas de vida y de participación desde la vida social y política; teniendo en cuenta que los integrantes del colectivo SIMA (personas que participaron en esta propuesta) son personas con discapacidad y en su mayoría, también víctimas del conflicto armado y de otras formas de violencia. Partimos del paradigma cualitativo, desde un enfoque histórico hermenéutico con la intención de comprender las historias de vida de los participantes; nos basamos en un método biográfico narrativo donde las voces y los relatos corporales permitieron nuevas comprensiones; todo ello aplicando las técnicas como entrevista, observación participante y cartografía, las cuales permitieron la recolección de la información para llegar a su análisis. De los hallazgos y nuevas construcciones hechas a través de esta experiencia se develan algunos apartados de análisis que hacen alusión al reconocimiento de la condición de discapacidad, la discapacidad en intersección con las violencias y el conflicto armado y por último el goalball como escenario de participación y resistencia y el rol del educador especial en este espacio. Haciendo posible que como educadores especiales pudiésemos explorar nuevos escenarios de participación, construcción y de diálogo de saberes con miras a la búsqueda de garantizar los derechos de las personas con discapacidad; asumiéndolos así desde el modelo social y crítico, reconociendo la posibilidad de empoderamiento y emancipación que se puede dar en los diferentes espacios colectivos y comunitarios |

The study does so while bearing in mind that the members of the SIMA group (people who participated in this study) are people with disabilities and, for the most part, also victims of the armed conflict and of other forms of violence. We start from the qualitative paradigm, from a hermeneutical historical approach with the intention of understanding the life stories of the participants. We based our study on a biographical narrative method in which voices and body-focused stories allowed for new understandings. All of this is done by applying certain techniques. These techniques include interviewing, participant observation and body mapping. Of the findings and new constructions made through this experience, some sections of analysis that refer to the recognition of the condition of disability, disability at the intersection of violence, and to armed conflict, are revealed. And ultimately, we use goalball as a setting for participation and resistance and as a space for the special educator to carry out his or her role. As special educators, we want to make it possible to be able to explore new scenarios of participation, construction and dialogue of knowledge aiming to guarantee the rights of people with disabilities. We assume these rights from the social and critical models.
