Se abordó los temas sobre los volantes como herramienta de gran valor, pues habla sobre una industria textil en el departamento, y principalmente su uso simbólico al trasmitir conocimientos y cosmogonías a través de la iconografía presente en ellos. La metodología que se empleó para este estudio iconográfico fue la semiótica, dado que es una ciencia de la comunicación y la transmisión de información. Este proceso de comunicar y trasmitir un imaginario colectivo se pudo evidenciar al encontrar iconografía igual o similar en las tres colecciones, también sobre el intercambio y el enlace entre las comunidades, permitiendo concluir que estos diseños no fueron hechos al azar sino que cumplían un papel representativo en la cosmogonía de las comunidades que habitaron el departamento de Antioquia. |

The subjects of the flyers were approached as a tool of great value, since it speaks about a textile industry in the department, and mainly its symbolic use when transmitting knowledge and cosmogonies through the iconography present in them. The methodology used for this iconographic study was semiotics, given that it is a science of communication and the transmission of information.
