RESUMEN: En la práctica académica se llevó a cabo la descripción documental de 724 Resoluciones de Vicerrectoría, de la Universidad Nacional - Sede Medellín, producidas en el año 2000 y 274 resoluciones producidas en el año 2001 por la mencionada oficina. Estas descripciones fueron realizadas en la base de datos que proporcionó la Universidad según la norma ISAD (G). Durante la práctica se realizó un estudio minucioso de aspectos a mejorar para futuros procesos por lo que al final de este trabajo se plantean algunas recomendaciones que se consideran necesarias aplicar con el fin de asegurar que los datos que se incluyan en la descripción sean correctos. Este trabajo utilizó la Norma ISAD (G) recomendada por el Consejo Internacional de Archivos (ICA) para estructurar el contenido del documento de manera clara y sistemática, asegurando que pueda ser confiable y accesible para quien realiza la consulta. Es un procedimiento que busca optimizar el tiempo de búsqueda de la información y minimizar los peligros asociados al contacto del material físico, teniendo en cuenta la Ley 594 de 2000 (Ley General de Archivos) la cual enfatiza la importancia de la conservación documental. |

These descriptions were made in the database provided by the University according to the ISAD (G) standard. During the practice, a detailed analysis of aspects to be improved for future processes was carried out, so that at the end of this work some recommendations are put forward that are considered necessary to apply in order to ensure that the data included in the description are correct. This work used the ISAD (G) Standard recommended by the International Council on Archives (ICA) to structure the content of the document in a clear and systematic way, ensuring that it can be reliable and accessible to the person making the consultation.
