RESUMEN: A pesar de que los documentos rectores de educación como los Derechos Básicos de Aprendizaje, los Estándares Básicos de Competencia y los Lineamientos Curriculares tienen algunos contenidos para desarrollar el pensamiento científico con respecto a la Astronomía y la Meteorología, en las instituciones educativas no se abarca a cabalidad dicho tema por ser considerado complejo para su enseñanza. Es por eso que surge el interés por enfocar más dichas ciencias en el aula y tener un acercamiento a cómo los estudiantes aprenden las ciencias del cielo; lo que se dio gracias a las intervenciones realizadas en el grado cuarto-tres de la Institución Educativa Javiera Londoño sede Antonia Santos, de la ciudad de Medellín-Colombia. En tal sentido, el trabajo allí realizado consistió en llevar a cabo una unidad didáctica llamada “más allá del cielo” que permitió el desarrollo de diversas actividades en las que los participantes pudieran inicialmente mostrar cuáles eran sus saberes previos frente a las nociones astronómicas y meteorológicas, para que luego, mediante intervenciones teórico-prácticas y los espacios de experimentación pudieran consolidar dichas nociones. Finalmente, este permitió mostrar un avance conceptual sobre estas ciencias, todo ello trabajado desde la metodología de la sistematización de experiencias. |
