RESUMEN: Esta investigación centra su interés en comprender la manera en que, por medio de la construcción de narrativas, se favorece la configuración de la alteridad en las maestras en formación y en un grupo de estudiantes del grado 11° de la Institución Educativa Juan María Céspedes en la ciudad de Medellín. Entendiendo alteridad como un modo de relación intersubjetiva, donde el sujeto asume la responsabilidad de responder éticamente por el otro/a y comprende la necesidad de realizar acciones políticas en pro de la construcción de una mejor sociedad; ésta es también un rasgo constitutivo de la subjetividad política, la cual se asume como una forma de ser, de habitar y de actuar en el mundo. Por consiguiente, este proceso investigativo se realizó a partir del enfoque epistemológico de la hermenéutica ontológica política y desde una perspectiva metodológica cualitativa-comprensiva. De esta manera, al interpretar las narrativas propias y de los estudiantes, se hallaron categorías que se acercan o distancian del propósito de la alteridad y de las características que la conforman. |

Understanding otherness as a way of inter-relationship, where the subject assumes the responsibility to respond ethically on the other and comprehends the need for political action towards building a better society; it is also a constitutive feature of political subjectivity, which is assumed as a way of being, of living and acting in the world.
