description RESUMEN: El ensayo que aquí se presenta es un relato de no ficción referido a los “entierros” que se avizoran en la Costa Pacífica. Bajo esta categoría de representación se conoce a los tesoros, constituidos de forma primordial por oro, que se perdieron una vez sus dueños originales fallecieron sin dar noticia exacta de la ubicación donde los sepultaron. A su vez, ellos hacen parte de una categoría de clasificación “taxonómica” más general denominada como “encantos” y ellos -conjuntamente con las restantes manifestaciones de la asociación (animales de oro, ciudades de oro, yacimientos de oro, etc.)- habitan, por lo general, en el inframundo acuático.
