Ausentismo laboral por causa médica y no médica en la Gerencia Complejo Barrancabermeja de Ecopetrol, 1995-1997

ABSTRACT: The study describes the magnitude, frequency, tendency and causes of the labor absenteeism of the workers with indefinite contract in the Colombia Company of Petroleums (Ecopetrol), Gerencia Complejo Barrancabermeja, between 1995 and 1997, with the purpose of establishing integral programs of interventions and control. A total amount of 5.515 events of absence were studied by certified cause, corresponding to 42.669 days of absence and 33.689 events with uncertifed cause that contributed with 50.538 lost days originated in 2.283 workers. The indicators for certifed cause showed decreasing tendecncy exception made for the year 1996. The global indexes for the period were 301.78 events of absence for one million of programmed hours-man, 2.334,86 days lost bay one million hours programmed, 75,6 out of 100 workers were absent in the studied period, the percentage of lost time was 1,87, and the average duration of the episode of absence was 7,7 days. The cost was 5.794.951.212. The indicators absenteeism for unprescreibed causes showed an increasing tendency and their cost was $103.325.146.398.
