El material de la investigación estuvo compuesto por un grupo de personas que llenaron un cuestionario previamente elaborado. La investigación fue cuantitativa y el estudio se realizó gracias al cruce de las respuestas obtenidas con las diferentes variables presentadas por el grupo que llenó el cuestionario elaborado para la investigación. Cada participante respondió durante aproximadamente una hora a las 100 preguntas del cuestionario que estaba disponible en línea (http://cms.unige.ch/cisa/grid/elin/start.php?lang=es3). Estas preguntas se referían al valor de varios sinónimos relacionados con las emociones en diferentes contextos y según diferentes aspectos: sentimientos subjetivos, cambios físicos, manifestaciones involuntarias, tendencias en el comportamiento, control de la emoción, etc. Las respuestas a cada pregunta se clasificaron en categorías según los rasgos comunes entre los significados de las palabras elegidas por los participantes. Esta clasificación se realizó de manera subjetiva, basándose en el sentimiento lingüístico de los investigadores. Esta investigación exploratoria permite afirmar a nivel general que, como ya lo mostraron los fonólogos para el valor de los sonidos, la pertinencia del valor semántico de los insultos en el grupo estudiado se puede vincular con las prácticas simbólicas de los participantes. Los valores sociales que cimientan los insultos en nuestro grupo dependerían igualmente de estas prácticas. |

Los valores sociales que cimientan los insultos en nuestro grupo dependerían igualmente de estas prácticas.ABSTRATC: An exploratory research without an initial hypothesis was conducted in order to identify the type of semiotic feeling of a group of university students when expressing their emotions. The subjects filled in a previously designed questionnaire. This qualitative research was based on the cross-reference of the different variables stemming from the responses given by the subjects in the afore-mentioned questionnaire. For about an hour, each one of the participants answered the one hundred questions of the questionnaire which was available online http://cms.unige.ch/cisa/grid/elin/start.php?lang=es3. These questions were concerned with the value of various synonyms related to emotions in different contexts, according to different aspects such as subjective feelings, physical changes, involuntary manifestations, behavioral trends, control of emotion, and so on. The answers given to each question were classified in categories according to common traits among the meanings of those words chosen by participants. This classification was carried out in a subjective way, based on the linguistic feeling of researchers. This exploratory research makes it possible to state that the value of sounds and the relevance of the semantic value of insults in the target group can be linked to the symbolic practices of participants.
