description RESUMEN: El siguiente texto intenta analizar, desde el libro del desasosiego de Fernando Pessoa, dos vías de acceso al mundo y la realidad, al margen de cualquier sistema conceptual o filosófico: la negación de la acción y la literatura del desasosiego. Ambas posturas, devienen en el pensamiento del poeta portugués, un rechazo profundo a los modos determinados de la modernidad y la contemporaneidad, sobre cómo debe ser y actuar el hombre conforme a un tipo de pensamiento pragmático y productivo. Por eso, en oposición a esto, Pessoa propone a la literatura del desasosiego como acción creadora y estética que posibilita al hombre una apertura al mundo desde la imaginación, el sueño, el arte, la poesía, la escritura y la acción creadora.

Both stances cause, in the Portuguese poet ́s thought, a deep rejection of modernity and contemporaneity as to how men have to be and act framed within a type of pragmatic and productive thought.
