Beside, it provides a rapid overlook of the ";care";, concept until it envolves into nursing profession.RESUMEN: Para desarrollar un tema tan amplio como es el cuidado a manera de esencia y condición humana, es necesario hacer un recuento tanto desde las nociones teóricas como desde la experiencia profesional sobre conceptos como el cuidado, la condición humana y la esencia. Lo que en este artículo se plantea es la necesidad de entregar al personal de enfermería, desde los diferentes espacios académicos, una concepción del cuidado como un arte que tiene amplias bases filosóficas y a la vez requiere de claridad cognitiva, para evitar discrepancias entre la praxis y la teoría.
