RESUMEN: En esta investigación se indagó por el impacto de las políticas laborales en los trabajadores del sector agrícola y agroindustrial, teniendo en cuenta: percepciones del entorno laboral, experiencias de trabajo, y el impacto psicosocial en la calidad de vida laboral. Materiales y métodos: Se tomó una muestra de trabajadores directivos, mandos medios y operarios de empresas pertenecientes al sector agrícola y agroindustrial de la ciudad de Medellín. En total se encuestaron 198 personas. También se realizaron entrevistas estructuradas a directivos del área de gestión humana. Resultados: Se encontró que si bien muchas de las variables de calidad de vida laboral como la satisfacción laboral, fueron bien evaluadas por la población objeto de estudio, los resultados de otras como violencia en el trabajo, tienden a ser más negativos.Conclusiones: Los resultados muestran que, para la mayoría de los trabajadores encuestados, las variables que en general mostraron un sesgo positivo fueron condiciones de trabajo, clima organizacional y valores personales, mientras que las que mostraron una tendencia baja fueron violencia en el trabajo y efectos colaterales del trabajo. No existen diferencias significativas sobre las percepciones de variables estudiadas, entre hombres y mujeres, ni tampoco con relación al tipo de contrato. |

Materials and Methods. A sample of managerial workers, managers and operators of companies from the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors in Medellin was taken. In total, 198 people were surveyed. Structured interviews with managers of human resources departments were also conducted. Results. Although many of the working life quality variables, such as labor satisfaction, were well evaluated by the population studied, the results of others, such as violence at work, tend to be more negative. Conclusions. The results demonstrate that for most of the workers surveyed, the variables that in general were regarded as positive were working conditions, working environment and personal values, while those evaluated as poor were the violence at work and the collateral effects of work.
