RESUMEN: El trabajo de grado titulado “Industria y comercio en el municipio de Caldas, 1900-1930”, tiene como objetivo reconstruir la historia industrial de este municipio durante la fecha establecida. El trabajo de investigación centra su mirada en el desarrollo de las grandes y pequeñas industrias existentes en aquella época en el municipio de Caldas y que tuvieron predominio e importancia a escala local y nacional. La curiosidad por investigar a cerca de este tema llega por mi cercanía con el municipio de Caldas, lugar donde nací y al cual quisiera aportar algo a nivel académico. Particularmente este tema llamó mi atención durante el proceso del pregrado porque la época de la industrialización despertó mi deseo de conocer las relaciones de la población con la nueva economía, todos los cambios a nivel social, cultural y de relaciones de poder. |
