RESUMEN: La idea utilitarista de que Colombia es uno de los países más ricos en recursos hídricos del mundo, logra seducir los intereses mercantilistas de grandes empresas privatizadoras del agua a nivel mundial, lo que unido al interés del modelo económico capitalista y del Estado por obtener las mayores riquezas a costa del saqueo de la naturaleza, pone en gran riesgo a las comunidades que ancestralmente han autogestionado el agua. Estos actores que con acciones cotidianas cuidan sus territorios y defienden la naturaleza, se han vuelto claves en la defensa de la autogestión comunitaria del agua en el país. Por lo anterior, en el presente informe de prácticas se consolida el proceso de intervención realizado con algunos acueductos y asociaciones de acueductos comunitarios de Antioquia, que se han encargado de defender sus derechos alrededor del agua. Dicha práctica fue desarrollada entre febrero a octubre de 2018 en la Corporación Ecológica y Cultural Penca de Sábila. El texto aborda una lectura crítica sobre algunas asociaciones de acueductos comunitarios, partiendo por la ubicación contextual y la lectura del objeto de intervención de la práctica, para finalmente abordar los resultados del acompañamiento a la luz de los fundamentos del Trabajo Social. |

These actors who with daily actions take care of their territories and defend the nature, have become keys in the defense of the communitarian self-management of the water in the country. Therefore, this practice report consolidates the process of intervention carried out with some aqueducts and associations of community aqueducts of Antioquia, which have been responsible for defending their rights around water. This practice was developed between February and October 2018 in the Corporación Ecológica y Cultural Penca de Sábila.
