In the ToM, desires, beliefs and intentions were assessed. The results show high prevalence of moral criteria in boys that hinder their ability to mislead and lie during the evaluation. In girls, temperamental profile focused cooperation was observed, which marks a pattern reading mental states with emphasis on common goals. |

In girls, temperamental profile focused cooperation was observed, which marks a pattern reading mental states with emphasis on common goals.RESUMEN: El estudio busca establecer si existen relaciones significativas entre las dimensiones del Temperamento y la Teoría de la Mente (ToM) en niños escolarizados entre 4 y 5 años de la ciudad de Medellín. Se utilizó un diseño transversal con una muestra de 30 niños. Para temperamento y carácter se evaluaron las dimensiones propuestas en el modelo de Cloninger, Svrakic & Przybeck (1993). En la ToM se evaluaron deseos, creencias e intenciones. Los resultados muestran alta prevalencia de criterios morales en los niños, que dificulta su capacidad para engañar y mentir durante la evaluación.
