description RESUMEN: El problema con las relaciones entre Escuela y Comunidad es uno de los más debatidos, y se han generado una gran cantidad de iniciativas para lograrlo. Independientemente del origen de estas iniciativas, se parte siempre del principio de establecer una mejor interacción entre el lugar donde van los niños y niñas para aprender y el lugar de donde provienen y donde viven sus familias. La presente investigación, realizada en la Vereda Río Arriba del municipio de Sonsón, tuvo entre sus propósitos más relevantes investigar cuales eran las estrategias de enseñanza-aprendizaje más adecuadas que posibilitarán mejorar los procesos de participación y vínculos entre la comunidad y la escuela en torno a la educación ambiental.
