Finalmente, la tercera parte rastrea las críticas principales de las Investigaciones al Tractatus con el fin de mostrar la distancia asumida por Wittgenstein al revisar su primer texto, y así demostrar que efectivamente hay una discontinuidad en el pensamiento del autor, particularmente con respecto a la teoría pictórica del significado.
