Summary:ABSTRACT: The following Action Research project involves exploring how the Montessori Method fosters EFL acquisition in very young learners of a private school in Medellín - Colombia. To carry out this project, the setting was explored and information was gathered through some class observations, journals and an interview. Finally, conclusions of this Action Research project suggest that implementing strategies following the principles of Montessori Method such as prepared environment, the absorbent mind and sensitive periods, proved to be effective to foster student's English language acquisition.
