Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica en las bases Pubmed, Science direct, Lilacs y Scielo con los siguientes términos de búsqueda: WHOQOL-BREF, WHOQOL-HIVBREF, WHOQO-LBREF-HIV. Se evaluó la calidad de los artículos por dos investigadores para garantizar la exhaustividad y reproducibilidad. La CVRS se midió en una escala de 0 (peor resultado) a 100 puntos. El análisis se basó en frecuencias, medidas de resumen, intervalos de confianza y prueba t student. Resultados: Se incluyeron 19 investigaciones con 3.348 personas de 11 países. Se obtuvo un promedio de CVRS entre 59 y 64 puntos, el menor puntaje se encontró en la dimensión ambiental (59) y el mayor en la salud psicológica (64). En el análisis de sensibilidad se hallaron cambios entre 0 y 5 puntos entre el puntaje global y el observado al excluir los datos de cada estudio individual. Se halló buena validez convergente en las dimensiones comunes a los dos instrumentos evaluados, con diferencias menores a 3 puntos. Conclusión: Los puntajes de CVRS en personas con VIH/sida fueron mayores a 50, lo que implica que su adecuado manejo puede disminuir los efectos negativos sobre la salud física, psicológica, social, ambiental, el nivel de independencia y la espiritualidad. |

The objective of the study was to assess the perception of Health Related Quality Of Life (HRQOL)) in people with HIV / AIDS. Methods: Systematic review with meta-analysis. We applied a research protocol in four multidisciplinary databases: Pubmed, Science direct, Lilacs y Scielo; with search terms WHOQOL-BREF, WHOQOL-HIV-BREF, WHOQOLBREF-HIV. Quality assessment of articles was done by two researchers to ensure the completeness and reproducibility. HRQL was measured on a scale of 0 (worst outcome) to 100 points. The analysis was based on frequencies, summary measures, confidence intervals, and Student t test. Results: The study included 19 studies with 3,348 people from 11 countries. The average of HRQL was between 59 and 64 points, the lowest score was the environmental dimension with 59 points and the greater psychological health with 64 points. In the sensitivity analysis we found changes of 0 and 5 points between overall score and the observed data by excluding each individual study. We found good convergent validity on the dimensions common to both instruments evaluated, with differences of less than 3 points.
