RESUMEN: El texto es el resultado de la tesis de pregrado en Historia, en la cual se realiza una descripción y análisis de contenido de la Colección Hojas Sueltas, ubicada en la Biblioteca Central de la Universidad de Antioquia. El objetivo principal es dar a conocer esta fuente de información histórica, que además se constituye en un patrimonio documental por las particularidades de dicha colección. En primer lugar el artículo presenta un breve recuento de la forma como se recolectaron y publicaron en el siglo XIX las Hojas Sueltas y el papel de su compilador, Juan José Molina. A continuación se realiza el análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo de las Hojas Sueltas, la descripción de su contenido y del proceso de catalogación que se llevó a cabo. Hace una breve descripción temática de las Hojas Sueltas con el objetivo de brindar a los investigadores un ejemplo que ilustre suficientemente la riqueza que ofrece la fuente. Para terminar, presenta tres temas, la religión, la política y la vida cotidiana, para ilustrar la manera como eran tratados y narrados los acontecimientos sociales en el siglo XIX antioqueño. |

It describes and analyses the Hojas Sueltas collection content, which is found at the main library of Universidad de Antioquia. The main goal is the presentation of this historical information source, which additionally constitutes a documentary patrimony due to its particularities. Firstly, this paper presents a summary of the way how Hojas Sueltas was collected and published in 19th century and the role of its compiler, Juan José Molina. Then, a quantitative and qualitative analysis of Hojas Sueltas is carried out as well as the description of its contents and cataloguing procedure. In addition, this paper makes a thematic description of Hojas Sueltas with the purpose of giving researchers an example that shows sufficiently the richness of the source.
