Ley 1996 de 2019 como materialización del enfoque diferencial en personas con discapacidad

In this monographic work, it is intended to address the concept of legal capacity from the 1996 law of 2019, which regulates certain legal figures such as the case of advance directives, the judicial award of support, support and the presumption of legal capacity. This monographic writing seeks to study the issue of legal capacity because there are subjects of special constitutional protection, and that for the particular case, they are people who present conditions of disability, either physical or mental, through the analysis of the different elements that are part of the disability regime in Colombia, and of how the implementation of the differential approach concept is achieved, in said people through the materialization of the effects that the support law raises, as well as the normative evolution that it has offered on the subject of legal capacity, explaining in the same way the advantages and novelties that its entry into force brought with it and what legal effects it caused in society.
