Description
Summary:The business practice was developed in the company Sunshine bouquet S.A.S, in the Sarama farm dedicated to the production of cuttings in the municipality of Tenjo, located in the department of Cundinamarca. The development of the practice was carried out through the integrated monitoring of Tetranychus urticae in the cultivation of Chrysanthemum under greenhouse, in order to harvest cuttings with excellent quality and free of traces of pests. The work was based on the chemical and physical management of the foci identified by the MIPE monitors, developing management strategies to reduce the incidence and severity of the pest in the crop. Based on the foregoing, the objective of the practice was to follow the control of Tetranychus urticae in the cultivation of chrysanthemum under greenhouse in the different varieties cultivated in the Sarama farm in Tenjo, Cundinamarca. For the full development of the objective, monitoring was carried out in all the beds of the 21 blocks that the farm consists of in order to identify the arthropod at the appropriate time and thus give it proper management. The spraying work together with the flamingo allowed to reduce the infestations and in correspondence the incidence of acarus, allowing to obtain cuttings free of traces of the arthropod.
