Description
Summary:In this report, I will describe my internship which was done in a Mentoring Project as a support program to help students who have learning problems or are at academic risk at the Universidad de Córdoba, in the bachelor’s degree in Foreign English Language Teaching. The purpose of the project is to help, assist, support, and guide students who had assimilation problems regarding English language in subjects such as Grammar and Communication, from first to fifth semester. The Mentoring Project is a new pilot program in which during my internship, I applied with some academic supporting strategies and pedagogical theories such as The Eclectic Approach, Motivational Strategies and Learning Styles. The gains of this project are presented in this report through a description of the activities and findings obtained with the students or mentees, and the achievement of some of them. Finally, it concludes with some general facts and reflections observed in the mentoring, its limitations and some recommendations for the program and future intern teachers.
