Summary: | This research designs a strategy that contributes to strengthening the ancestral identity of zenú culture in the department of Córdoba making use of augmented reality technologies from classrooms in indigenous institutions that are part of the culture based on a non-experimental design, students are observed in their real environment and their attitudes are analyzed under a mixed approach taking results from the quantitative results obtained by applying a series of questionnaires and from the qualitative identifying the behaviors establishing the fulfilment of the proposed goals, also determining the use and access of students to ICT resources and recognition of the importance of preserving cultural identity. Ethno-education is the set of community phases that strengthen the customs of an ethnicity, in order to safeguard their cultural values and increase actions to protect their survival as an ancestral people, new information and ICT communication technologies have evolved in recent years and have become the support of several organizational areas, in the case of education there are several advantages they offer by linking these technological tools with new learning models. However, minority groups such as indigenous people are becoming isolated from these pedagogical processes as no strategies have been established to include ICT in learning processes in indigenous communities without affecting or threatening to change their traditional practices and lifestyle. |
