| Summary: | This study aims to analyze the behavior of Colombian flower exports to the US market. The methodology is quantitative and causal in nature. In order to carry out this study, the conceptual sources of the Scopus database were taken with the search for the keyword "Flowers export" generating a total of 50 documents of which 33 are between 2010 - 2020 and the rest from previous years to create a solid research context. The results indicate that the export of Colombian flowers shows an encouraging commercial outlook in the US market, but the lack of specialization in the floricultural sector marks the country's lack of competitiveness; the limitations of the study lie in the use of a single database; there may be other relevant studies that are not indexed in scopus.
