Summary: | Currently, the generation of solid waste has become a global problem, in which countless sectors of society are affected. This is why the health sector, as a waste generator, must have an environmental management system that guarantees the proper disposal of its waste with the least impact on the environment and on people's health. The Casalud Foundation, like many institutions, is committed to the safety of users, their families and other external clients and is concerned about the impact generated by the provisión of the service in their environment. The objective of this work was to evalúate the compliance of operatión, support and evaluation of the performance of Fundación Casalud with respect to the ISO 14001: 2015 STANDARD, the evaluation was carried out following the methodology described by the Colombian Technical Standard NTC ISO 14001: 2015 on management environment and the requirements for its use, various management tools were used, such as checklists, direct observation, guided tours and documentación review. Finally, the evaluation of the information was carried out according to some evaluation categories, with which it was concluded that the environmental compliance of the IPS Fundación Casalud is acceptable, with 63% compliance with the indicators with respect to the criteria of the rule |
