| Summary: | The University of Córdoba, committed to regional development, prepares an analysis of the use and management practices of marine-coastal resources of the Colombian Caribbean. In particular, the study focuses on the analysis of the case of the Rincón del Mar district, municipality of San Onofre (Sucre). In the case at hand, marine-coastal resources are classified as: a) natural: biological, b) anthropic: of a human nature (based on the classification of the California Coastal Plan Conservation Commission) , 1975), and c) for their uses: fishing, forestry, tourism and recreational, cultural and intangible (Barragán, 2003); In addition, the actors that converge in the corregimiento are characterized and the management practices are analyzed, according to the uses and problems associated with those uses. |
