Summary:Integration is an ongoing activity of any commercial process. The elimination of trade barriers between countries allows to gain from their comparative advantages and strengthen its position in international trade. In these circumstances, is entering the relationship of the Inter-oceanic Highway, built by Peru and Brazil. The objective of this document is to explain the influence of inter-oceanic highway as part of a process of economic integration, in which the major traditional markets, enter into a process of contraction and thereby the countries with less bargaining power internationally have to find mechanisms to enable gain advantage in this process. The article is based on the results of a qualitative research, based on the research literature related to the issues of economic integration and inter-oceanic highway.
