Description
Summary:This article is addressed to establish the obligations of the Colombian State regarding the respect and guarantee of the human rights of the family members and civilian victims of antipersonnel mines, unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive devices, in the context of the internal armed conflict Colombia has suffered for over 40 years, under the standards the State adopted from the Inter-American Human Rights System. The amount by which the victims of these explosive devices has increased, is directly proportional to how the armed conflict in Colombia has grown in intensity, being its main victims members of the police force.
