Summary: | In this article, the authors present the results obtained when implementing projects that integrate teaching, research and extension education as strategy to provide the affluent formation of described professionals in the scientist, responsible and environmentally conscientious of its paper of constructors of a new society in harmony with the surroundings. Sample that the experience besides to fortify the teaching – research relation, has allowed to improve the process of learning, the degree of awareness and commitment that the students have acquired with their surroundings and the importance that give to the conservation and handling responsible for the natural resources from the optics of their discipline. With this strategy, the University of Applied and Environmental Sciences (U.D.C.A.) advances in the construction of the four basic pillars of the education for century XXI: “to learn to being”, “learning to know”, “to learn to coexist”, and “to learn to do”. |
