The burnout was measured with an adaptation of the Maslach Burnout Inven¬tory (MBI) scale. The results showed a strong relationship within three burnout dimen¬sions, but each one was associated with different psychosocial and job-satisfaction indica¬tors. Task satisfaction was related with lower emotional exhaustion level and higher per¬sonal accomplishment feeling level. Boss satisfaction was associated with lower deper¬sonalization level, and the personal accomplishment feelings were associated with lower avoided coping and high active coping. On other hand, perceived social support was re¬lated only with personal accomplishment feelings, and traumatic life events had both di¬rect and indirect effects, the first with a total job satisfaction score and the second with the emotional climate indicator. The emotional climate was associated with individual and psychosocial variables.
