A structured self-administered questionnaire based on recommendation of the Country wide Integrated noncomunicable diseases Intervention Program (CINDI), of the WHO was applied. Variables analyzed: Level of schooling, level of work dependence, physical activity at work (PAW), leisure time physical activity (LTPA), transportation physical activity (TPA). The qualitative variables were tested by chi square test. Results: The level of schooling achieved shows a significant relationship with the level of LTPA. The prevalence of LTPA in males was 65% and in women 69%. The population is mostly inactive in their free time. Conclusion: The years of schooling are inversely related to the level of physical activity at work and directly related with the level of leisure time physical activity.application/pdfspaUniversidad de CaldasDerechos de autor 2016 Hacia la Promoción de la Saludhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/hacialapromociondelasalud/article/view/3877Workplacelifestyleschoolingphysical activityexerciseEjercicio físicoestilo de vidaescolaridadactividad físicalugar de trabajoRelación entre el nivel de escolaridad y el patrón de actividad física en Balcarce, ArgentinaRelationship between the level of education and physical activity pattern in Balcarce, ArgentinaArtículo de revistaSección InvestigacionesJournal Articlehttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1Textinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/ARTinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a859828921Hacia la Promoción de la SaludOrganización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).
