In its study Determinants of business survival in Colombia (2017), Confecámaras reveals that 40% of businesses owned by individuals or Star Ups close before completing their first year of operation, Carlos León, Director of the Public Accounting Program and The FUSM research group highlighted that some of the reasons for this scenario to arise are poor economic and personnel management in MSMEs.
